The integrated power meter measures the energy consumption of the machine. You see the difference between idling and forming, calculate the actual energy cost per 1,000 pieces and have the figures ready for energy consumption reporting, carbon footprint reporting and energy audits.

What is delivers
Everything from the Basic Pack, plus a unique view inside the forming area during production and at the moment of an alarm. Alarm messages and diagnostic reports show machine-specific renders that highlight the exact region of interest. Operators with less experience find the cause faster, and experts can look at recorded footage instead of relying on a description.

Do I need a cloud connection for the Basic Pack?
No. Power Meter data and the Standard Data Interface work on your local network. Cloud dashboarding is optional. However, a connected machine is strongly recommended for remote support.
Which systems can read the Essential Data Interface?
Any system that supports OPC-UA, including all common MES, ERP and SCADA platforms.
Can I add the camera to a machine that is already running?
The High-Speed Camera will become available as a standalone retrofit for Nedschroef Machinery machines.
What happens after the first year of Machine Condition Monitoring?
Monitoring continues as a yearly or monthly subscription via the Nedschroef Machinery Fleet Management Platform. You decide whether to continue.
Can I start with the Basic Pack and upgrade later?
Camera, picture support and condition monitoring can be added later. Ask our sales team what is possible for your machine and HMI generation.
The components explained
Power Meter
An energy consumption meter (Siemens Sentron) integrated in the machine. It measures what the machine actually draws, and separates idling from forming.
WHAT YOU CAN DO WITH IT
- Calculate the exact energy cost per thousand pieces produced.
- Supply verified data for ISO 50001 compliance, corporate carbon footprint reporting and local energy reduction audits.
- Allocate energy costs accurately per product or order.
Where you see the data: on the module screen, via the Standard Data Interface, and in cloud dashboarding.
The components explained
Essential Data Interface
An OPC-UA server integrated in the machine. OPC-UA is a vendor-independent protocol, which makes the interface plug-and-play for any commercial MES, ERP or SCADA system.
WHAT YOU GET
- A basic list of signals in a standardized structure, ready to be logged by your own systems.
- Production transparency, OEE and downtime analysis, asset management and cost-per-part data – without a custom integration project.
The components explained
High-Speed Camera
A high-speed (approx. 200 fps) industrial camera in the forming area, protected against oil, dirt and high temperature by a robust housing.
WHAT YOU GET
- Live feed and slow-motion live feed for process monitoring during production.
- Dashcam function: triggered by the operator, load monitoring or machine error detection, the system saves 2 seconds before and 3 seconds after the event. The video is linked in the diagnostic report.
- Overlay of machine metrics such as crankshaft angle, for exact timing of an issue.
- Extended buffer (up to 30 seconds) during setup, so the operator can freeze and save footage when the machine stops.
- Footage can be reviewed on the HMI or remotely.
Additional cameras can be placed at other locations in the machine, for example the cut-off side, pointing unit, feeding unit, thread rolling unit or product evacuation. Read more about the High-Speed Camera System →
The components explained
Picture support on HMI
Machine-specific renders on the HMI that show the operator where to look. The region of interest is highlighted in alarm messages and referenced in diagnostic reports.
WHAT YOU GET
- Faster troubleshooting, especially for operators who are new to the machine.
- Less dependency on the printed manual: the picture shows the location, the text explains the action.
Note: on older machines photos are used instead of renders.

Custom Data Interface
An OPC-UA interface tailored to your plant. Where the Essential Data Interface delivers a fixed signal set, the Custom Data Interface adapts structure, signal names and additional signals to the way your factory already works.
TYPICAL CUSTOMISATIONS
- Localised terminology and language, matching your plant's naming conventions.
- Mapping to existing database structures.
- Production line interaction and system handshakes.
- Advanced diagnostics, such as detailed error codes.
- Additional sensors or data points, for example air consumption.
Scope: configuration and mapping of the data interface. Custom software functions are not part of this package and are quoted separately.

Machine Condition Monitoring
Continuous monitoring of machine and process health, presented in clear dashboards. One year is included in the Customized Comfort Pack; after that it continues as a subscription.
