How it works
1. Feasibility Check
Each project begins with a clear discussion to align expectations and confirm if a part can be made using cold forming technology. Together, we review the maximum production speed, forging load, machine selection and estimated costs in a transparent way.
Once aligned, we create the cold-formed part drawing, optimized for cold forming. Details such as rounded corners improve tool life and production efficiency. Every adjustment is made openly and in full agreement with you: you set the direction, we guide the process.

2. Tooling Design
With the drawing confirmed, our tooling engineers get to work. Using simulation software, they prepare a complete progression drawing and tooling layout to ensure every forming step is technically validated.
This phase typically takes three to four weeks, resulting in a robust tooling setup ready for production.

3. Tooling Procurement
When the design is finalized, we proceed with purchasing the tooling hardware. This can be managed by Nedschroef Machinery or externally, depending on your preference.
Optional test tooling may compare different materials, die build-ups or progression steps to reach the most durable configuration before full production begins.

4. Sample Production Check
Our start-up engineers install the tooling and run the first sample production tests. Together with the tooling team, they fine-tune settings to achieve the desired quality, speed and tool life.
After testing, results and next steps are reviewed during a dedicated meeting to ensure full transparency and alignment before moving forward.
