The Nedschroef Machinery Open House in Detroit brought together industry professionals for a remarkable week of live innovation, technical expertise and genuine connection.
Held over five days at our Detroit facility, visitors saw what performance, reliability and service really look like in action.
Throughout the week, several key experiences stood out, starting with the live demonstrations. Right from the first step into the showroom, attendees were immersed in the heart of our technology.
Our NB615 Boltmaker and RRA18 straightening machine operated under real production conditions, offering a rare, close-up look at our engineering in motion.
“During live demos, attendees didn’t just watch, attendees could see our machines perform, see the forming process and interact with the engineers who built them,” said Kris Anthoni, Global Service Manager.
The energy of the demo floor flowed directly into the warehouse management presentations, offering guests a behind-the-scenes look at how Nedschroef Machinery maintains top-tier quality standards.
The demos and presentations were described as "well-organized," "informative" and "a nice behind-the-scenes view."
Each demo and presentation added context to what they saw in action, showing how every bolt, every process and every team member contributes to our Built to Perform philosophy.
The message was simple. We build machines that set the standard for consistency, durability and forward-thinking design.
Our Detroit warehouse has been fully transformed to support real-world customer operations.
The new strategy, based on a risk-informed analysis, ensures we stock exactly what matters most.
Key upgrades include:
“It’s not just about having parts. It’s about having the right parts, at the right time, in the right place,” added Kris Anthoni.
This overhaul directly addresses a major industry challenge: minimizing machine downtime caused by part delays.
But it wasn’t just about the machines. Our growing team is just as critical to delivering world-class performance. We proudly announced the expansion of our North American service team:
With over 60 years of combined experience, our U.S. technicians are now positioned to deliver on-site overhauls, preventive maintenance and fast troubleshooting all with direct customer contact.
Additionally, two standout tools gave visitors a closer look at how we’re streamlining service and support through smart, user-focused technology.
Among the most appreciated additions was our new revision calculator, a smart tool that allows users to estimate investment needs for machine overhauls with ease and accuracy.
This feature resonated strongly with guests, who praised it for its clarity and practicality.
One guest put it simply: “The revision calculator is a lot more user friendly than I expected.”
This tool simplifies service planning by offering instant insights, eliminating uncertainty and supporting better budgeting decisions. It’s a perfect example of how we’re working to make advanced service tools accessible to every level of your operation.
Also, on display at the interactive technology stations was our internal tool, a behind-the-scenes powerhouse that impressed visitors with its precision and efficiency.
Designed to streamline quoting for complex machine configurations:
The platform simplifies the entire sales cycle and reduces errors in pricing or technical specifications.
While machines and service took the spotlight, visitors also gained insight into tooling development. His session provided valuable insight into the tool design process, showcasing how deep technical knowledge translates into practical results.
If you found this session compelling, be prepared for more. Stay tuned for our upcoming Metal Forming Seminar, where we’ll dive deeper into tool development and machine optimization with insights you can apply the next day.
Beyond machines and presentations, the Open House served as a valuable space for genuine dialogue and professional exchange. From casual conversations to more focused discussions during dinner, guests had the chance to connect directly with our machine operators, tooling specialists and service experts.
The atmosphere was open and informal creating the perfect setting for sharing ideas, asking technical questions and exploring potential collaborations.
For many attendees, this access to our team was just as impactful as the technology on display. It reminded everyone that great machines are built by great people and great partnerships start with honest conversation.
The success of the Open House is a direct result of the energy, curiosity and collaboration brought by each attendee.
From engineers and operators to decision-makers, your enthusiasm confirmed what we already believe: when the right people and the right machines meet, great things happen.
This event wasn’t just a showcase; it marked a foundational moment in Nedschroef Machinery’s U.S. journey. Through facility upgrades, team expansion, smarter inventory and accessible service tools, we are investing where it matters most: customer uptime, speed of service and long-term performance.
We’re not just building machines, we’re building local trust, lasting partnerships and responsive support for the future.
